How and when did the business start?

I trained to be a surgeon in the NHS after being given five choices by my father for my career path; a doctor, dentist, lawyer, engineer or accountant. My Nigerian parents were preparing me for the reality of being a black man in the UK and they wanted to give me the best chance possible. Whilst training medically I was introduced to non-surgical aesthetic work- from lasers to injectables, and immediately, I loved it.

After graduating and venturing into aesthetics as a cosmetic doctor, I launched the Esho Clinic in 2013 with locations in London and Newcastle. The aim was to createa unique facial rejuvenation experience that would provide state of the art botox, dermal fillers and cosmetic treatments.

Now, the ESHO Clinic attracts a global clientele with patients from 50 countries.In 2021 I created the world’s first cosmeceutical lip care range, ESHO. After specialising in lips for the past few years, I took all the techniques and methods I’d learned and created, to produce a collection of four hero lip products which are an affordable topical alternative to lip filler. In 2022, ESHO. has the full complement for every lipcare need with 6 innovative products.
